Diversity - 2020 Blackpool Illuminations Switch On Night

For 2020 the Switch On show will be a FREE Virtual show streamed to both a national and international audience.

It will be hosted by Diversity´s Ashley and Jordan Banjo, and will feature a star studded line up of talent, leading up to the all important Illuminations Switch On moment.

The streamed hour long concert, which will feature a mixture of exclusive pre recorded, at-home performances, as well as live performances at a closed event, filmed inside the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, acting as the curtain raiser for the extended Blackpool Illuminations season, which will now run from 4th September to 3rd January 2021.

Details of the 2020 Switch On concert line up have been revealed!!!

For 2020 the concert will be a virtual one featuring a mixture of exclusive pre-recorded performances at home and live performances filmed inside the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
The virtual show will start at 8.30pm on September 4 and be hosted by Diversity’s Ashley and Jordan Banjo. It will also feature chart-topping DJ, Joel Corry.

As the Golden Circle was such a great success it is set to return for 2021. Keep checking back for details.

Melanie C  - switch on virtual concert for the 2020 Illuminations Switch On

Melanie C AKA Mel C - Melanie C is one of the most famous female pop stars on the planet. Last year, saw the Spice Girls’ blockbuster reunion tour with sell-out stadium concerts that served as a joyous reminder of the spell that 90s girl power still casts on pop. On October 2, Melanie’s eighth studio album “MELANIE C” will be released featuring collaborations with Biff Stannard and Nadia Rose. The first and second singles from the album “Who I Am’ and “Blame It On Me” have already been huge airplay hits.

Fleur East - switch on virtual concert for the 2020 Illuminations Switch On

Fleur East first appeared on X Factor in 2005 as a member of group Addictiv Ladies. In 2014 she returned as a solo artist where she came second. Since then she has launched 2 successful albums. In 2018 she participated in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and finished 4th. She now also hosts a breakfast radio show on Hits radio.

Tom Grennan - switch on virtual concert for the 2020 Illuminations Switch On

Tom Grennan is a British musician who was born in Bedford. He found fame as the guest vocalist on Chase & Status's All Goes Wrong

Becky Hill - switch on virtual concert for the 2020 Illuminations Switch On

Becky Hill rose to fame after appearing on The Voice UK in 2014. She released her first album Get to Know. She has also released a number of singles and supported The Script on their UK and Ireland Tour.

Rae Morris - switch on virtual concert for the 2020 Illuminations Switch On

Rae Morris was born in Blackpool and has released 2 albums - Unguarded and Someone Out There. She is also an acomplished songwrite. In 2018 she co-wrote Mel C's Sink the Pink from her High Heels album.
