Blackpool Illuminations 2010 Switch On Show

Blackpool Illuminations 2010 switch on show and ceremony is set to be a huge historic event. The 2010 Blackpool Lights will be something not to be missed. For the first time ever, the Blackpool Lights 2010 switch on will be on the new Tower Headland. This is a newly constructed area opposite Blackpool Tower. It is due to open during summer 2010 and will be able to accommodate up to 10,000 people. It will be a magnificent space, with the Tower to one side and the sea on the other. For the first time in many years, people attending the 2010 Blackpool Illuminations switch on show will actually be able to see the illuminations light up! Previously the only part of the Illuminations that could be seen from the concert area was the Tower itself.
